It's hard to believe summer camp 2015 is already halfway over! Still LOTS to do! If you haven't joined us yet, come out today and tomorrow! There's something for everyone!
The Spring children's drama was WONDERFUL! Such a talented group of young people who love to use their gifts for the Lord Jesus.
We are so very blessed to have such a fabulous group of young people in our church family. Six of these young people graduated this spring -- 4 from high school and 2 from college. We had a wonderful time celebrating their successes, and we look forward to seeing what God has in store for them.
Hopefully soonish😀 great Gospel music coming your way!!!
50 years ago, God began a work in Bossier City called Shady Grove Baptist Church. And He is STILL working in this place today!
Three of our home missionaries to Sri Lanka share a song of praise. Nothing lost in the translation!
We're VERY excited to see how our men's / boy's basketball ministry is growing! We meet every Saturday morning at 8:30 am in the White House (gymnasium). It's a great time of fellowship for the men of the church, a wonderful opportunity for fathers & sons to spend quality time together, and a time of spiritual growth as we open God's Word at each activity. We'd love to have you come join in the fun!!
These two young ladies were very excited about following Jesus in baptism! We look forward to seeing how God will use them as they grow in their walk with the Lord.
Lily and Evelyn asked Jesus to be their Savior! Two more names written in the Lamb's Book of Life! Praise the Lord!!
Like every church, we are presented with decisions from time to time that bring to light the differing opinions of our church members. In the instance of the floral display for our Communion table, we tried a new conflict resolution strategy: a thumb war :)
What better way to start off the new year than by seeing God add to our church! Such a blessing to have the Kemp family with us!
We had a wonderful service Christmas Eve celebrating the birth of our Savior. The men of our church joined together to sing about Jesus' birth and did a great job!
Each year on Christmas Eve morning, we have Granny Mildred's Bethlehem Breakfast. It's a wonderful time of food & fellowship while we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! After we enjoy ALOT of really good home-style cooking, we recognize our folks who oversee the various ministries of our church. It's always a special time, and this year was no different....
What a blessing to visit some of our senior saints while caroling....
Once again, all of our children did a GREAT job! Every child has a gift, and it's such a blessing to see them use those gifts for the Lord Jesus!
Our 1st Annual Children's Christmas Drama was FABULOUS!!! Mrs. Sara did an exceptional job with the children, and their hard work was clearly evident during the performance. The Gospel was the foundation of the script, and we have every confidence the Seed was planted.
Since our Spring Missions Conference, we've been continuously praying for God to "send forth labourers into His harvest." Three new families made Shady Grove Baptist Church their home this month. Praise the Lord!!!
