II. v6 Paul Reiterates He is Not Speaking the World’s Wisdom. It Comes to Naught.
III. v7 What is the Mystery? The Mystery Is the Gospel
Eph. 6:19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
Col. 1:26-27 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: 27To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
IV. v7 What is the significance of its being a mystery? Def of Mystery – No one could make this up
V. v8 The princes did not know.
A. Those in Positions of Responsibility – Herod, Pilate, High Priest probably would have not
B. satan – opened the door to lose everybody
