I.          v11 The man and the woman are dependent upon each other side by side in the presence of God

II**.    Make your own judgment v13 – the woman’s communication to God and work for God cannot be properly accomplished if she is leaving her husband’s place in her life out of the picture

III.       These are three different states Shorn/Shave, uncovered, 11:6

IV.       Connect v 13 to v14 for understanding of covering

V.        v14 and v15 give us the same contrast of v 4 and 5.

VI.       v15b settles it… GOD PROVIDES THE COVERING

VII.     Long hair on a woman is not a sufficient condition for Godliness any more that short hair on a man is a sufficient condition for Godliness.  BUT long hair on a man dishonors his head and short hair on a woman dishonors her head.
