Text: 1 Corinthians 10:11 11Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
Intro: Ends of the world
Psalm 19:1-4 1The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handywork. 2Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night showeth knowledge. 3There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. 4Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
I. 10:1-4 – These represent saved people
A. All were under the cloud. All have the Holy Ghost as their guide.
B. All passed through sea. All of us have been baptized by Holy Ghost and in the Water.
C. Cloud was guide before trip through the sea.
D. All ate the same spiritual meat.
E. They all drank of the Rock – Christ.
II. 10:5 – We will not go back to Egypt, but there are consequences for sin
Colossians 3:25 But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.
Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Numbers 32:23 But if ye will not do so, behold, ye have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out.
III. 10:6 – This is Wilderness
Mark 4:18-19 And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, 19And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.
