I. Discipline
A. Allowing your children at the table when determining the facts and disposition for an event. We hear the child’s side to determine if He is lying not to determine if the adult is lying. (Dad setting Junior and Mom down to get to the bottom of what really happened.)
B. Allowing your children’s cries, screams, temper tantrums to affect you decisions for them. Remember you are not punishing you are disciplining.
II. Allowing your child to take leadership responsibilities they cannot handle.
A. Where they or the family will go to Church
B. If they will go to Church
C. What they or family will watch on television
D. What they or the family will eat
E. When they are going to break into a conversation
F. When it’s OK to run and play in the parking lot
G. How much Nintendo I’ll Play
H. What Momma is going to do during her 1 hour of free time a week
I. Whether or Mom and Dad will go on a date
III. Forcing your child to make decisions that they are not equipped to make. (Forcing them to make the hard choices that you instead of making them yourself.)
A. Whether or not to look at the magazines a kid at school is showing
B. Whether or not to listen to certain music
C. Whether or not to go to the internet site the guys at school told them about
D. Whether or not to kiss little Billy.
E. Whether or not to dress immodestly.
F. Whether or not to let her boyfriend touch her.
G. Whether or not to put the moves on his girlfriend
