God Judges All

I.       Verse 1 – The proper opinion of all God’s labourers.

A.     Ministers (servants) not of Music or finance but of the Mysteries of God

B.     Stewards - A man employed in great families to manage the domestic concerns, superintend the other servants, collect the rents or income, keep the accounts

II.     Verse I – Stewards of the Mysteries.  What should our relationship be to the mysteries.

2 Tim. 2:15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

III.    Verse 2 - Remember the stewardship with which we have been entrusted.  The One requirement is faithfulness.  More responsibility requires a faithfulness at lesser responsibility.

IV.    Verse 2 - There are people depending on us.  Not our skills, gifts, charisma, talents, but simply on us to be faithful.  (Population Stats.)

V.     Verse 3 – The judgment of others is not “nothing”, but it is very small.

VI.    Verse 3 - In fact Paul does not even judge himself. This is a huge lesson to learn.

VII.  Verse 4 - Judgment comes from God.  He judges our work and He reveals to us what we should do differently.  We cannot justify our actions, motives, labour, attitudes.  All of these must me placed at the feet of our Saviour for His judgment.

VIII. Verse 5 - We cannot be concerned with why we did what we did yesterday.  Follow God today and move on.
