10-4-09 PM 1 Cor Series: The Spirit searcheth all things The Spirit Searcheth all Things I. Verse 9 – As it was impossible to come up with the Gospel in our own minds, it is equally impossible to comprehend the things that our God has prepared for us. II. verse 10 - The Spirit teaches us all things Psa. 139:6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it. John 14:25-26 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you. 26But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. 1 John 2:20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. 1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. III. verse 11 - Even God had to become a man to understand. James 1:13Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: Heb. 2:16-18 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. 17Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people. 18For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.
IV. verse 12 – that we might know, we don’t know but we can know V. verse 13 – Comparing Spiritual things with spiritual; Bible with Bible VI. verse 14 John 3:3Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. V. verses 15-16 – The Spiritual side of us accurately discerns everything. He is perfect also and not subject to instruction. Colossians 1:27To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: 1Jn 3:9Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
