Your Sin or Mine
I. We live in perilous times.
2 Tim 3:1-5
II. In light of these times, what does God say to do?
2 Tim 3:5; 3:13-14
III. The greatest danger in the sin around us is not that it is going to destroy our nation or our children’s future, or our family. The greatest danger in the sin around us is it can seduce us into talking the focus off ourselves.
A. Do we know more about our sin or the sin of others B. Do we spend more time focusing on our sin or the sin of our nation
IV. Example: This caused Israel to have apathetic and complacent attitude towards their our own sin.
Ezekiel 18:1-4 The word of the LORD came unto me again, saying, 2What mean ye, that ye use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying, The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge? 3As I live, saith the Lord GOD, ye shall not have occasion any more to use this proverb in Israel. 4Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.
